A Voice Of Our Own premiered in January of 2007 at The Hub Theater in NoHO.
A Voice Of Our Own
A Voice Of Our Own is a unique theater experience. Inspired by the writings of
Showdown Teens, this show is mixture of songs, monologues and skits that deal
with life as a teenager.
Peeling away stereotypes and any preconceived ideas, this play not only gives
teens a chance to be heard, but a mountain top from which to scream. One of the
charms of this piece is that you'll never see the same show twice.
It continues to change, evolve, and flow with the times. Since new songs and
stories continue to be written by teens, the show will morph with each new tile
they bring to the mozaic.
A Voice Of Our Own has also played in Dunedin Florida and will be presented in
the Los Angeles area during the summer of 2008
