Got more girls than guys? Or vice-versa? Not a problem anymore, baby. Many of our roles can be played
by guys or gals. (Not all of them, that just gets weird, but alot of them.)
Classic tales - Modern issues.
Part of our goal is to reinvigorate the classics. This makes for great cross educational opportunities. While
the drama department mounts The Argonauts, English classes can be learning about Greek Mythology.
Same holds true for Cervantes, Shakespeare, Poe, Dumas, Stevenson, and a whole bunch more.

TOTALLY TEEN THEATER: Showdown shows are totally teen. It is theater for, with,
and about teens. No adult roles of any kind mean no more putting on a shawl and dying your hair to
play Uncle Bert or Aunt Priscilla. Teens play roles appropriate for their age. Our shows deal with
the issues of modern teendom. The language, plots, themes and characters deal with what's
relevant today.
