It was early autumn, the trees were the
color of fruit loops and the air was colder
than the monkey bars at five am. My name
is Cage. Drexton Cage and I'm a High
School detective.
So begins Gumshoe High, a Totally Teen
Mystery that gives a wink and a nod to the
works of Raymond Chandler and Dashell
Hammet. A modern version of the oh so
cool hardboiled detective.
When Drexton is hired to solve a simple
little frame-job, the no-brainer gig suddenly
becomes a tangled web of intrigue.
Trying to keep Abner Johnson from getting
expelled for supposedly stealing some test
answers, Drexton suddenly finds the
buzzing hive of high school adrift with
suspects, motives and way too many clues.
